QUARTZ

Quartz is recommended for any indoor surface. Quartz is not recommended in outdoor areas as it can be damaged but sudden changes of temperature.

Quartz is one of the hardest and most common minerals on Earth. Because of its strength and abundance, quartz is a popular and reliable choice for countertops. Quartz countertops are extremely durable and never have to be sealed. They are also nonabsorbent, so they resist staining and don’t harbor harmful bacteria.

Quartz countertops come in a wide range of colors, patterns, and tones making them a versatile option for many interior design styles. Many popular quartz designs showcase neutral or earth tones and reflect the look of granite, marble, or other stones. Quartz colors can also be unique and vibrant, including reds, blues, greens, and golds. Some quartz designs incorporate shimmer and sparkle, with jewel-like particles.

Granite

Granite is recommended for all hard-working surfaces such as Kitchen countertops, Bathroom Vanities, BBQ’s, Bars, Stairs, and Fireplaces.

Granite is an extremely hard Quartz based rock formed from the cooling of volcanic magma. It is available in a range of beautiful colors. This product requires sealing and is suitable for all applications.

Granite is available in 2cm and 3cm thick stone and suitable for laminating up into thicker edges.

Porcelain

Ideal for outdoor kitchens as it is resistant to heat, scratches, and stains. Porcelain is a low maintenance material.

Porcelain countertops are made from non-porous ceramic clay that contains various minerals, such as kaolinite and silica. As with all-porcelain products, the material is baked in temperatures ranging from about 2200-2650 Fahrenheit. These extremely high temperatures produce a durable countertop material that is resistant to scratching, cracking, UV light, and heat. It also resists staining.

With porcelain countertops, you only have two edge options: square or mitered. Because the material is so thin, manufacturers will often create a mitered edge to give it a thicker look. You don’t have as many finish options for porcelain countertops as you do with quartz or natural stone.

Marble

Marble is recommended for Kitchen countertops, Bathroom Vanities, Bars, Stairs, and Fireplaces.

Marble is considered more beautiful than all other stone materials due to its colors, swirls, and veins. It is a softer calcite-based rock formed from Limestone under immense heat and pressure. This product requires sealing and is suitable for all applications. Weathering will occur outdoors.

Marble is available in 2cm and 3cm thick stone and suitable for laminating up into thicker edges.

The fantastic beauty of this product lends itself to Feature Walls and Panels. Quartzite can typically be found in shades of white and grey, however, there are other colours of quartzite. Variation in colour is due to differences in mineral content.
